Now there are many different levels of competitive swimming. All of the have different levels of competition. And I wouldn’t recommend spending money to join these leagues unless you are a serious swimmer. Now I will share information about a few different leagues.
First I will start of with the Olympic. There is a high chance you already know what the Olympics are. There are 147 Nations that compete in a wide variety of athletic competitions with one of those being swimming. This is where the best athletes compete in there respected sports to represent their country. This would be the most difficult league to compete in or even qualify for.
The next competitive swimming league is the international swimming league. This is almost the same thing as the Olympics but the competition isn’t as good. But with that being said they are still some of the best athletes in the world. It is still a great way to compete for your country while doing something you love.
And the last one i will talk about is the USA Club Swimming League. Now there are very many clubs all over the country. If you live in a larger city for your state your high schools will have a club team. And there are also a few state wide teams in almost every sate. For example in Nebraska there is the GNST club. They are Nebraska’s state swimming club.
