Now swim caps are a very useful tool. But it is not a necessity or even required. All they are for is to reduce water resistance from your hair. And to keep your hair out of your face. There isn’t a variety of swim caps to choose from. All that change are how thick or large they are. And the thicker the cap the better since it will last longer. But if you need it for a one time use I would recommend using a cheaper thin cap.
Now you might not know if you should use a cap. If you have short or no hair I would recommend wearing a latex cap. It helps with water resistance. If you have medium to long hair I would recommend silicon caps just because they are more elastic and they don’t pull your hair. But when it come down to it there just isn’t much variety. I would just recommend you choose your favorite color or design.
